The Blue Ridge Mountains is home place for Lou Messa, and his paintings reflect the simplicity of life around him.
The lay of the snow-patched land ... the Coca-Cola sign fading away in perfect time with the barn it is painted on ... double visions of farmhouses faithfully reflected on their front yard ponds ... yesteryear's treasures; automobiles and trucks at rest in their fields.
Lou studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and has become a master painter whose works are to be found in collections throughout the United States.
